The first official barrier trials for the new season's two-year-olds has been moved to Randwick with Canterbury to undergo remedial work.
The Australian Turf Club says above average winter rainfall has put a burden on the track with a meeting on September 28 moved to Rosehill in addition to the transfer of the trials on September 19.
ATC executive general manager of racing James Heddo says the transfers will allow work to be carried out on sections of the Canterbury track.
Heddo said the work would ensure the track was ready for an expanded program of nine night race meeting starting on October 21.
