Michael Walker will have acupuncture and anti-inflammatories in a bid to ride Sofia Rosa in the Group One Memsie Stakes at Caulfield.
Walker complained of back pain after he came off a horse after the winning post at Geelong on the eve of Saturday's feature race in which he rides the Australian Oaks winner.
The jockey's manager Ryan Roberts tweeted that Walker was confident he would be riding at Caulfield after the treatment and medication.
