A careless riding suspension has cost Blake Shinn the chance to ride Detective in the Group One Caulfield Guineas.
The jockey booted home the Peter and Paul Snowden-trained Extensible home in the final race at Rosehill on Saturday, but stewards gave him a four-meeting ban for the ride.
Extensible put 1-1/2 lengths on Bullrush to win the Hyland Race Colours Handicap.
Shinn was booked to ride Detective for the Snowdens in the Guineas on October 8 but will not be allowed to return to riding until the following day.
