Blue Diamond Stakes winner Extreme Choice has beaten a star studded field in the Group One Moir Stakes, leaving Chautauqua in his wake.
Craig Newitt brought the Mick Price-trained three-year-old from back in the field to beat Heatherly and Wild Rain with Chautauqua edging Buffering for fourth.
Price revealed he had considered not running the colt at Moonee Valley on Friday night from the outside barrier but decided to go ahead with the right result.
