Jockey Ryan Wiggins has been cleared of a broken leg after a spectacular fall at the Sunshine Coast.
Wiggins was riding the favourite Puissance Decheval who crashed through the fence at the 1100m on Wednesday evening.
Ambulance staff attended to Wiggins on the track for 25 minutes before taking him to hospital.
Wiggins manager Brad Glendenning said the jockey had been cleared overnight of a break.
"Ryan was allowed to go home last night which was good news," Glendenning said.
"I spoke to him last night and he was very sore. He has a bad bruise on the leg but he is hopeful of getting back to riding as soon as possible."
Stewards opened an inquiry into the fall and took evidence from jockeys Chelsea Jokic, Tiffani Brooker, Michael Hellyer, and Paul Hammersley.
It has been adjourned until Wiggins can give evidence.
Puissance Decheval suffered a broken pelvis and was euthanised.
