Trainers Adrian and Harry Bull are already signalling a return to the Queensland winter carnival and a defence of the Brisbane Cup with New Zealand stayer Benzini.
The seven-year-old is nearing the end of quarantine in Melbourne after a trip to Hong Kong where he finished a creditable sixth in the Vase at the International meeting last month.
"It was a great experience and the horse tried really hard," Harry Bull, who accompanied Benzini to Hong Kong, told nzracing.co.
"He was there for two weeks after the race and he's in Australia at the moment and he'll be home soon."
In three starts in Brisbane last year, Benzini was placed twice at Group Three level in addition to taking out the the Group Two Cup.
"He did well and we'll probably look at going back with him again," Bull said.
Australian sprinters Rebel Dane and Takedown, who both raced in the International Sprint at the Hong Kong meeting, are also scheduled to leave quarantine this week.
