Blake Shinn to miss Magic Millions day

Wednesday 4 January 2017, 9:21am

Blake Shinn's four-win haul at Kembla Grange has been soured by a suspension which rules him out of the rich Magic Millions day at the Gold Coast.

Shinn's four winners on Tuesday were all for the Peter and Paul Snowden training team for whom he rode last year's Magic Millions Classic winner Capitalist.

He was outed for his ride on the unplaced Anthony Cummings-trained Lookin' At You in the final race and will be out from January 13 to 20.

Brisbane trainer Chris Munce has confirmed Damian Browne will stick with Ours To Keep in the $2 million Classic on January 14 with Kerrin McEvoy to ride Champ Elect.

Ours To Keep is in line for a $500,000 bonus if he can add the Magic Millions to his wins in the first two legs of the two-year-old summer triple crown.
