Dunn in box seat in Country C'Ship heat

Trainer Matt Dunn has made a habit of winning Highway races in Sydney for country-trained horses and will be looking to another big prize at Grafton.

The Murwillumbah trainer has four runners who are the market leaders in the first regional heat of the Country Championship on Sunday headed by Perfect Dare who is the $2.10 favourite.

The first two home in the $150,000 raceover 1400 metres gain automatic spots in the Country Championship final at Randwick in April.

Perfect Dare will be ridden by Jim Byrne while Dunn's other runners are Delightful Feeling (Corey Brown), Sunny Fame (Matt McGuroin) and Madam De Ban (Jeff Lloyd).

Delightful Feeling is the early $6 second favourite, Madam De Ban is at $7 and Sunny Fame $11.

The Grafton meeting will start later than planned because of the predicted heat with the feature race the fourth on the program at 5.20pm.
