Greg Miles' last day as a race caller has been made a little harder with the addition of an extra race at Caulfield.
Racing Victoria has added a 2400m open handicap to the Easter Saturday program, Miles' final day before he retires after almost four decades.
Storms caused the last three races on Saturday's program to be called off.
RV and the Melbourne Racing Club have also changed a 1600m-benchmark race to an open handicap to accommodate some of the horses who missed out.
Nominations for all races will close as scheduled at midday on Moonday.
"We have added the 2400 metre race to provide an opportunity for horses to prepare in the lead-up to the 2500 metre Open Handicap at Flemington on ANZAC Day," RV Racing Operations Manager, Paul Bloodworth, said.
RV will also look at opportunities for horses affected by the abandonment of the final three races of Saturday's Werribee meeting and seven of the eight races on Sunday's Terang Cup program because of the weather.
Former Sydney race caller Matt Hill will replace Miles as Victoria's No.1 caller.
