Ballina races called off because of rain

The northern region of NSW has lost its second meeting in a few days with Ballina called off after 10mm fell to take the week's total to 84mm.

Murwillumbah was called off on Monday after one race and Ballina suffered the same fate on Thursday with three parts of the track waterlogged.

Racing NSW said the affected sections were at the 1250m, 800m and home turn.
