Sydney jockey Tom Berry could miss the final Group One event of the Australian racing season after being suspended at Doomben on Saturday.
Berry, riding Good Prospect in the Stradbroke Handicap, pleaded guilty to causing interference to Ulmann at the 150m.
Stewards suspended him for 12 days, starting on June 17.
If he doesn't appeal, Berry will miss the ride on Prompt Response in the Group One Tatts Tiara.
Stewards adjourned an inquiry involving New Zealand jockey Leith Innes, who rode Counterattack, after they charged him with causing interference to Kaepernick in the straight.
As Kaepernick's jockey Patrick Moloney had left the course without permission, the inquiry will be completed at a later date.
