A Warrnambool-based trackwork rider has been disqualified and fined in her absence at a Racing Appeals and Disciplinary Board.
Jacinta Hall was to face two charges before the RAD Board on Thursday.
She was charged with failing to deliver a sample when directed by stewards as well as dishonest, corrupt, fraudulent, improper or dishonourable action or practice in connection to racing.
At a Racing Victoria stewards inquiry on May 2, stewards alleged Hall failed to deliver a sample when requested at Warrnambool racecourse on April 23.
They also alleged Hall provided stewards with a medical certificate, dated April 23, which purported to be signed by a doctor.
On May 24 the doctor confirmed with stewards via email that he did not issue the certificate.
Hall was suspended for 12 months on the first charge and disqualified for 12 months on the second charge with a fine of $2000.
They ruled the penalties to be served concurrently.
