Questions:

1.      What was the best horse you beat on the track?

Who ever I was up against I was going to beat. I only had the one start as a 2YO and dominated the field. Nash Rawiller is quoted as saying “I was the best horse he had ever ridden.”

2.      Which of your progeny are you most excited about?

My youngest progeny are yearlings and I have some crackers on the ground - I would welcome anyone to come and take a look them. I’m spreading them across stables throughout Victoria and NSW so you’ll be sure to see some very soon.

3.      What do you enjoy most about stud life?

I must say, I love covering the older mares!

4.      Do you prefer Northern or Southern Hemisphere mares?

I like both - I was lucky enough to have some Northern Hemisphere mares in my first season at stud.

5.      What maiden filly would you most like to cover this year?

I’ve had my eye on Diamond Earth who resides in the Anthony Cummings yard - maybe next season.

6.      Who is your all time pin up filly?

I don’t really have an all-time favourite but I do have a taste for young Canny Lad and Choisir mares.

7.      What is your favourite colour? Black, Grey, Brown, Bay or Chestnut?

I’ll take what I can get it’s a numbers game as I keep being told!

8.       If you were a human what would your profession be?

I would probably want to be a Stud Master...or anything else involving mares!
