Apprentice Priscilla Schmidt will take a week's holiday after riding at Eagle Farm on Saturday to weigh up metropolitan offers.
Schmidt will be back in Brisbane to ride Port Macquarie galloper Rebel Dancer in the Gouldson Injury Law Handicap (1400m) at Eagle Farm.
She was among the leading apprentices in Brisbane before deciding to relocate to her home area of Port Macquarie in April.
Schmidt thought she would struggle for rides in Brisbane during the winter but has since been much in demand in varying racing centres.
She has been in great form on northern NSW tracks, riding 20 winners since her move.
A natural lightweight, Schmidt has ridden 231 winners overall but can still claim 2kg in the metropolitan area.
Several Brisbane trainers are keen for Schmidt to return to riding in Brisbane now that Tegan Harrison and Anthony Allen have graduated to senior ranks.
"It has been a case of have saddle will travel of late," Schmidt said.
"I have been in Sydney a couple of times and ridden a winner and up to the Gold Coast where I have had doubles at my past two visits.
"I am going to have a week off next week and then decide which way I will go."
Schmidt won on Rebel Dancer at Warwick Farm and the mare hasn't started since the July 2 victory.
However, Rebel Dancer won a Port Macquarie barrier trial in impressive fashion on August 1.
Rebel Dancer has won six of her 16 starts and trainer Jenny Graham has always rated her a city-class galloper.
