Hugh Bowman is back in town with a solid book of Warwick Farm rides.
Bowman makes his return to Sydney racing after more than a month riding overseas and the jockey's midweek commitments include key mounts for Chris Waller.
The Waller-trained Elusive Star is an early favourite to give Bowman instant success in the first race.
Bowman will join an exodus of Sydney jockeys heading to Brisbane for the winter carnival and he will ride the Waller-trained Sebring Sally in the Queensland Oaks on Saturday.
He has also been confirmed as the new rider for Stradbroke Handicap fancy Malaguerra.
During his overseas stint, Bowman won the Group One Queen Elizabeth II Cup on ex-New Zealand stayer Werther at Sha Tin.
Bowman is second on the Sydney jockeys' premiership, but he is 31-1/2 wins behind James McDonald.
