Injured jockey Allan Chau is likely to be sidelined for the next six months as he recovers from serious injuries received in a race fall.
Chau came down in a race at Grafton on February 16 when a horse travelling behind clipped heels with his mount.
The popular jockey suffered a fracture to his C2 vertebra, a fractured shoulder, torn shoulder ligaments, a broken finger, injured wrist and fractured jaw.
"He's in good spirits but pretty shaken," Chau's manager, Graeme Flyght said.
"The worst thing he was complaining about was he wasted before the meeting and can't eat solid foods with the broken jaw."
