Boom apprentice Travis Wolfgram will resist the temptation to concentrate on Brisbane racing despite riding another city winner at Doomben on Wednesday.
Wolfgram, 18, scored his 67th winner in the past 12 months when he guided Emerald Duke ($3.70) to victory in the Bundaberg Distilling Handicap (1350m).
It was his third win in a metropolitan-class race but Wolfgram makes only occasional visits to the city.
Wolfgram is bred to be a jockey with his dad Philip the first jockey to win on the top sprinter General Nediym.
He is apprenticed to his mother Tracey, a respected Gold Coast trainer.
Wolfgram says he's not tempted to come to the city full-time until at least next year.
"I want to outride my two kilos' allowance at the Gold Coast," he said.
"At the moment I am six in front in the apprentice jockeys' title and three ahead in the senior race," he said.
