Salute To Jude out of MM Guineas

Friday 10 January 2014, 5:11pm

Salute To Jude has become the second horse taken out of the Magic Millions Guineas due to injury.

Charlie Boy was withdrawn on Friday morning with a hamstring problem while Salute To Jude was scratched in the afternoon with a ligament injury.

Michael Rodd, who was to ride the Gerald Ryan-trained Charlie Boy in Saturday's $1 million race, will be aboard first emergency Estonian Princess from the Scott Aspery stable.

Salute To Jude's jockey Damien Oliver goes on to second reserve Shiraz Attack.

Tim Bell was dually booked on Tinto and Shiraz Attack with stewards ruling he must stick with the former.
