Brad Rawiller will be the new jockey for Robert Sangster Stakes favourite Platelet, ending an eventful sequence of rider switches on the top sprinter.
Rawiller became the third jockey engaged to ride Platelet in the Morphetville Group One race on Saturday when his booking was confirmed on Tuesday.
Damian Lane had the original mount on the Darren Weir-trained mare in the $400,000 race but he received a 24-meeting suspension at Caulfield last Saturday.
Michelle Payne then had the ride for 24 hours until she was also suspended on Monday.
Rawiller had to get a release from the Clarry Conners-trained Satin Shoes to ride Platelet.
Adelaide jockey Jason Holder will partner Satin Shoes.
Platelet has drawn barrier five, one gate outside one of her major rivals, Shamal Wind, as she tries for back-to-back wins in the race.
They head first markets on the weight-for-age sprint for fillies and mares with Platelet the $5 favourite.
Shamal Wind is one of two Robert Smerdon-trained runners with the Caulfield trainer also accepting with Politeness.
Politeness won the Group Three PJ Bell Stakes at Randwick at her last start and the filly is also among the entries for the Group One All Aged Stakes in Sydney.
Smerdon said he was keeping his options open with Politeness with the stable delaying a decision on where she runs.
Bookmakers have Shamal Wind at $5.50 with Politeness sharing the fourth line of betting as an $8 chance.
