Dual Group One winner Trust In A Gust heads nominations for the $2 million Stradbroke Handicap.

Trust In A Gust, who won the Toorak Handicap and the Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes at Group One level during the Melbourne spring carnival, has been at double-figure odds in most early Stradbroke markets but will shorten now he is an official entry.

Trust In A Gust is expected to run in the Group One BTC Cup on May 9.

His trainer Darren Weir also has the Group One William Reid Stakes winner Lucky Hussler in the Stradbroke.

Lucky Hussler will contest the Group One Goodwood in Adelaide before heading to Brisbane.

The 111 nominations for the Stradbroke included early favourites Our Boy Malachi and Srikandi.

Sacred Star, an unlucky runner in last year's Stradbroke, will arrive in Brisbane on Sunday with another quality New Zealand galloper in El Roca.

Nominations for the Doomben Cup and BTC Cup on May 9, the Doomben 10,000 on May 23 and the Queensland Oaks on May 30 have been released.

Entries for the JJ Atkins and Queensland Derby, Group One support races to the Stradbroke on June 6, have also been finalised.
