Jockey Glyn Schofield will miss the second day of The Championships because of a suspension out of the Provincial Championship heat at Goulburn.
Schofield was found guilty of shifting out on Knit 'n' Purl approaching the 1000m-mark of Thursday's race when not clear of Fashion Sniptz.
Unless he wins an appeal, Schofield's ban will begin on April 2, the day after he is scheduled to ride Victoria Derby winner Prized Icon in the Australian Derby at Randwick.
But he will miss the following Saturday featuring the $4 million Queen Elizabeth Stakes.
The James Cummings-trained Prized Icon is vying for favouritism with New Zealander Jon Snow in Saturday's Group Two Tulloch Stakes.
